Thackeray Cousins Join Rahul Gandhi to Expose 'Vote Chori' in Maharashtra Polls!

MUMBAI: The political stage in Maharashtra is buzzing with excitement as the municipal elections approach. The famous Thackeray cousins are now sounding the alarm on 'vote chori'—a term for vote theft—joining Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in accusing irregularities in voting and the voter lists. Just a day after Raj Thackeray, the fiery MNS chief, raised this issue in Pune, Uddhav Thackeray, leader of Shiv Sena UBT, spoke fiercely on Sunday. At a party meeting in Dahisar, he warned workers to "Keep your eyes peeled open and check the voter's list to ensure that there are no bogus voters and people are not voting 2-3 times." He did not stop there and challenged the authorities: "How did the number of voters in the state increase by 40-42 lakh? Find out who are these people who have inflated the voter's list and don't let them vote." He went on, "If elections are conducted in a genuine manner, it will not be possible for the governing parties to win. Especially in Maharashtra." Uddhav's ally, Sena UBT's Sanjay Raut, added fuel to the fire. "This issue was raised by Raj Thackeray earlier as well. PM Modi has come to office by stealing votes. This is how the army in Pakistan comes to power," he said boldly. Earlier, Raj Thackeray had spoken out sharply: "I have been saying this for years. I met opposition members including NCP SP's Sharad Pawar and TMC's Mamata Banerjee and said that we should boycott Lok Sabha polls for this reason. Our votes are not coming to us. They are being stolen. Those in office have stolen votes." But the ruling camp wasn’t silent. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hit back strongly, targeting Uddhav and Raj. He said, "They needed to analyse why public has lost faith in them. Until they accept the truth, they will remain in this state." The political heat is rising high in Maharashtra! With big accusations flying around about bogus voters and rigged elections, everyone’s eyes are now on the coming municipal polls. Will truth come out or will it just be a bigger game of blame? Stay tuned!
