Haryana Signs Rs 3,000 Crore MoUs with Japan's Daikin and Kubota to Boost Industry and Jobs

Big news from Haryana! Chief Minister Nayab Saini revealed on Wednesday that the state government has sealed two powerful MoUs with Japanese companies, aiming to give Haryana’s industry a massive boost with investments totalling Rs 3,000 crore. First on the list is Daikin, a global giant, which has agreed to set up a brand-new Research and Development (R&D) center right in Haryana, investing a whopping Rs 1,000 crore. This new R&D hub promises not just cutting-edge technology but also fresh jobs for Haryana’s young talent. CM Saini shared on social media, "Pleased to share that an MoU was signed between the Haryana Government and Daikin in Osaka to establish a new Research and Development (R&D) center in Haryana, with an investment of ₹1,000 crore. This initiative will create new employment opportunities for our youth and significantly boost technological advancements." Next up is Kubota Corporation, which has revealed plans to pump in Rs 2,000 crore through a technical tie-up with Escorts, focusing on agricultural equipment manufacturing. CM Saini held detailed talks with Kubota’s senior officials in Osaka, exploring exciting investment opportunities. He said, "This significant investment will further strengthen Haryana’s industrial and agricultural sectors, bring cutting-edge agricultural technologies to the State and create substantial employment opportunities for our youth." And Haryana is not alone in this big push. Tamil Nadu’s Industries Minister TRB Rajaa announced that Tamil Nadu has also signed an MoU with Nissan, Japan’s auto giant. "They have signed an MoU to take talent, train in Japanese, in engineering, in IT skills and ensure jobs for them in the Japanese service sector," he said. With these vibrant MoUs, Haryana and Tamil Nadu are set to ride a wave of industrial growth, cutting-edge technology, and exciting job opportunities, especially for the youth.
