GFP Blasts Vote Fraud in Goa Elections, Welcomes New Leaders with a Bang!

Panaji: Hold your hats, political drama in Goa gets hotter! On Friday, GFP president Vijai Sardesai dropped a bombshell claiming that the last assembly elections in Goa were rocked by sneaky vote fraud. "Don’t consider vote chori a small issue. Vote chori happened in Goa. Votes were not just stolen; they were also cast to help bring another party up," Sardesai thundered, pointing fingers at deliberate tactics to twist election results. He didn’t stop there. Sardesai shed light on Congress's shaky stand, saying, "There are various people in Congress who are new in the party, but they are not together. They are unable to bring out the corruption of BJP. Putting the Congress house in order is a work in progress; let them complete it." His tone was a mix of frustration and hope as he added, "I only feel sad that Congress party, which is the principal opposition party, should be in a stronger position." The political pot thickened as Sardesai brought some fresh faces into the GFP spotlight. He inducted three ex-sarpanches: Amit Sawant from Mandrem, who once served as district general secretary for Congress in 2015 but is no longer active with them; Aniket Salgaonkar from Dhargal; and Mayur Parab from Alorna. Their entry is seen as a power move to strengthen GFP's local reach. With accusations flying and new leaders stepping in, Goa’s political theater promises more exciting twists ahead. Could GFP’s claims shake up the state’s power game? Only time will tell!
