NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a powerful statement on Thursday, promising the Modi government’s strong and unshakeable mission to make Jammu and Kashmir totally free from terrorism. He said the hard work and bravery of security agencies have almost crushed the terrorist network that enemies of the nation had built in the Union Territory. While leading a security review meeting with all key players, Shah confidently said, "Our security forces will continue to have full freedom of action to crush any attempt to threaten peace and security in the region." He also assured everyone that the government will keep providing all the necessary resources to support these brave security forces in their relentless fight against terrorism. Amit Shah warmly appreciated the quick and tough steps taken by the Union Territory administration and security agencies after the shocking Pahalgam terror attack. These actions, he said, have helped make the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir even stronger. The minister highlighted the crucial teamwork among all security agencies, stressing the need for them to stay alert and work together to wipe out terrorism completely from the region. With winter knocking at the door, Shah issued a sharp warning: "Security forces must remain fully prepared to ensure terrorists do not exploit snowfall to infiltrate across the border." This call to action means the forces must be extra cautious and ready to guard the borders tightly even in tough weather. Shah’s speech was a fiery reminder that the fight against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is far from over, but with strong will and full support, peace can surely prevail.
