NEW DELHI: A peaceful night near Dwarka Mor metro station in west Delhi turned into a crime scene after a fierce quarrel among e-rickshaw drivers got out of hand. It all happened between the night of October 4 and 5. Police say a group of drivers was waiting for passengers when an argument sparked between two men, Sunil Kumar and Tejraj Joshi, 27. Mohit, a 35-year-old e-rickshaw driver from Gandhi Chowk in Sainik Enclave, was nearby. Trying to help his friend Kumar, Mohit stepped in. But things got ugly fast! Joshi allegedly pulled a sharp weapon and stabbed Mohit in the belly. The injured Mohit was found by a police patrol team and rushed to Safdarjung Hospital. Sadly, he died during treatment. The accused, Joshi, is originally from Dadeldhura district in Nepal but has lived in Mohan Garden with his wife and their five-year-old son for about a year.
