September 16, 2025

Patna is buzzing with excitement as State road construction minister and BJP MLA from Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, laid the foundation stone for an eye-popping Rs 22 crore project to widen and strengthen more than 30 roads in the city. This major upgrade will make your daily travel smooth and hassle-free! But wait, there is more. Nitin Nabin also launched construction of a brand-new community hall near the Bankipur Zonal Office in Ward 36. Built under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme, this hall will cost around Rs 1 crore and serve as a vibrant spot for locals to gather and celebrate. One headline project is the expansion and strengthening of the long 9-km Vivekananda Marg, stretching from Boring Road to the famous Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple. This will connect important arteries like Indira Sinha Path, Rajendra Path, and Veer Shivaji Path, joining wards 22 and 23 seamlessly. Nitin Nabin explained, "The 9-km-long road network will connect major roads like Indira Sinha Path, Rajendra Path, and Veer Shivaji Path, benefiting over 30 roads in the area. The project will ease traffic congestion, provide better connectivity for students, and ensure safe and smooth travel for citizens." That's not all! The minister also talked about lighting up Patna’s nights with more than 35 mast light installations. On top of that, 19 community buildings will pop up, many water supply schemes will improve life in several areas, and a unique waste-to-wonder park is on the cards. Add to this an underground subway, and you get a city stepping boldly into the future. Patna’s development story is getting colorful, well-lit, and forward-moving, thanks to these smart and exciting projects!
