The first words I heard were filled with genuine worry: ‘Why didn’t you take care of yourself?’ Before I could even respond, he had already taken action," she said. Can you imagine? The very next moment, Modi sent his personal doctor to her home with detailed instructions to run all the necessary tests and make sure she was perfectly fine. That’s a powerful mix of care and quick action! But the story doesn’t end there. Sitharaman said that even now, PM Modi often asks her, “Are you looking after yourself? How are you keeping?” This ongoing concern from the head of the nation truly shows a rare kind of compassion. “People see PM Modi as a strong, serious, and determined leader, and yes, he is all of that. But I have also seen another side of him, tender, thoughtful, and humane. That combination of firmness and compassion is what makes him different,” she added.
