The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has unanimously approved the list of candidates for the upcoming municipal elections. This decision came after the Pradesh Election Committee met over Zoom, chaired by TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud. The meeting included Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. The leaders discussed strategies for the polls, focusing on candidate selection, campaign planning, and ward-level coordination. Ministers were instructed to secure maximum seats in their areas and the districts they oversee. Mr. Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of these elections by saying they are "crucial to further consolidate their strength in the State." Later, the officially approved candidates received their B-Forms from their respective in-charges in various towns and cities. This marks a clear step by the Congress party to contest the municipal polls with a strong, united front.
