Four people, including a CRPF jawan, died on Tuesday in a severe accident in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. At around 11 a.m., a bus traveling from Doda to Jammu lost control near the Jakhani-Chenani area on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. The bus first hit a motorcycle and then crashed into a parked load carrier that was broken down and being fixed by a mechanic. The mechanic and the owner of the load carrier died immediately. Two other people on the bus were thrown out through an emergency window and died on the way to the hospital, officials said. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
