Vissannapeta police have launched a search for Shivani, CEO of the company Life is Beautiful, over accusations of fraud. Shivani and her late husband Durga Prasad started the firm two years ago in Vissannapeta, NTR district. They promised thousands of people jobs and high returns on deposits. Victims say the couple collected around ₹20 crore from residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A few days ago, the company was shut down. Facing heavy financial troubles, Durga Prasad, who was the managing director, reportedly took his own life in October 2025. Complainants said, “The accused opened LB Mart in Vijayawada. The MD and CEO said they have taken up some 200 projects at various places, and the family members of the depositors would be provided jobs in their projects.” The victims have filed complaints, and Vissannapeta police have registered a case. The police confirmed on December 16, 2025, that special teams are actively working to catch the accused who conducted the fraud.
