The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a second supplementary chargesheet in the murder case of BJP worker Abhijit Sarkar. The chargesheet named 18 additional accused persons, including TMC MLA and 2 civic councilors. Abhijit Sarkar was killed in a post-poll violence incident in 2021. The CBI's investigation into the case is ongoing.
