All-India Tiger Estimation 2026 Starts in Thanthai Periyar Sanctuary, Erode

The first phase of the All-India Tiger Estimation-2026 began on January 6 in Thanthai Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary under Erode Forest Division. Over 150 forest staff are conducting a six-day census of tigers, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife using line transect methods.
