A terrible accident happened near Chinnatekur in Kurnool district on Friday. A private bus, heading to Hyderabad, crashed into a two-wheeler. This crash turned deadly when the bus caught fire, resulting in 12 people losing their lives, including the biker on the motorcycle. Picture this: about 40 passengers were inside the bus when the motorcycle hit the bus and got dragged underneath it. The motorcycle’s fuel cap was open, which caused the fiery blast. Kurnool Range DIG Koya Praveen told PTI, "About 19 passengers, two children and two drivers survived the mishap." The door of the bus got stuck because of a short circuit, trapping many inside. The fire swallowed the entire bus within minutes, burning it down to ashes. Most of the survivors were young, aged between 25 and 35 years. This tragic incident raises serious questions about road safety and quick emergency response. When fiery accidents happen, every second counts. Sadly, the jammed door turned the bus into a deadly cage. The police continue to investigate the details of this fiery disaster that has shaken the community.
