Handing over 50 shiny new patrol two-wheelers to the city's traffic police, he shared exciting news: the government has bought 500 new police vehicles this year! But that’s not all! To battle emergencies swiftly, Bengaluru now boasts a state-of-the-art Rs 26-crore command centre inspired by London’s system. This high-tech hub promises to get help zooming your way within nine minutes. In a tech-savvy move, Parameshwara also launched the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) Astram e-accident app. This smart app helps citizens report accidents online quickly, making insurance claims a breeze. How cool is that? He called on big industries to step up and play their part in public welfare through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. After all, city growth is a team game! The Home Minister gave a big shout-out to Bengaluru’s police for cracking down on drug traffickers. Recently, they seized illegal drugs worth a whopping Rs 24 crore! Schools and colleges are buzzing with awareness campaigns to keep youngsters safe. As for those pesky potholes popping up from the rains, Parameshwara assured everyone that repairs are on the way. He warned against turning such civic problems into political battles. "Let’s keep city matters peaceful and united," he urged.
