Hold on tight, movie lovers! The mind behind The Adjustment Bureau, George Nolfi, is cooking up something special for India. The original film, a magical mix of romance and sci-fi starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, wowed audiences worldwide with its tale of love fighting against fate and a mysterious organization. Now, Nolfi is teaming up with Graphic India's boss, Sharad Devarajan, to craft a vibrant Indian-language version. Why India? Nolfi said it best: “India’s rich philosophical and spiritual traditions offer an incredible canvas to explore the themes of destiny and free will that are at the heart of The Adjustment Bureau.” Nolfi isn’t new to big hits. He’s the brain behind Ocean’s 12 and Bourne Ultimatum scripts and also created The Banker and Elevation. Plus, he’s been busy developing big projects like a 24 movie and worked on a script for Rise of Skywalker. Now, teaming up with Devarajan means blending Hollywood savvy with Indian storytelling magic! Sharad Devarajan is a storytelling powerhouse too. He co-created The Legend of Hanuman animated series, which just released its sixth season. He also worked on Baahubali: Crown of Blood with the legendary S.S. Rajamouli and helped create India’s own Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Devarajan shared his excitement: “Having known George for years, I’m absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with him on this exciting Indian reimagining of the amazing film he created. The concepts of karma, dharma, and the eternal dance between fate and choice are deeply embedded in Indian culture. How love and determination can rewrite the very fabric of destiny is a theme that has inspired storytelling for thousands of years, making India the perfect setting for a reimagined version of The Adjustment Bureau.” So, what’s coming? A dazzling blend of romance, action, and deep philosophy wrapped in Indian culture and music. This remake promises to be a blockbuster that explores how fate isn’t fixed and how love can challenge even the toughest destiny controllers. Stay tuned for a masaledar cinematic treat that will make you believe in the magic of choice and chance!
