Uttarakhand CM Dhami Backs CBI Probe in UKSSSC Paper Leak, Vows Zero Tolerance on Exam Fraud

September 30, 2025

The heat is rising in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami personally stepped onto the Parade Ground to meet students who protested against the UKSSSC paper leak scandal. The scene was intense, but Dhami had a clear message – the government is listening and acting fast! To calm the storm, CM Dhami declared, "You all want the CBI to investigate it. So, I'm saying this to all of you, so that there's no doubt in your minds, we recommend a CBI investigation." He highlighted that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been busy gathering facts about the leak for several days now. The CM didn’t stop there. Speaking with the media inside the Assembly premises in Dehradun, he stood firm against any wrongdoing. "We have stated that there should be no injustice to the rights and abilities, talents, and capabilities of youth. There should be no corruption in the recruitment process. If there are any questions, we have stated that we are ready to conduct any investigation that the students desire," said Dhami, encouraging students to prepare for upcoming exams with confidence. He also spotlighted the government's track record, reminding everyone that more than 25,000 appointments were made without any corruption. The ongoing SIT probe is zeroing in on the 2025 graduate-level competitive exam paper leak. Amid the protest buzz, Dhami issued a word of caution. "I appeal to all the youth that they should decide who are leading their movement, those who are bringing the youth onto the streets to serve their own interests, have no connection with the youth or the recruitment process." He promised a clean recruitment process moving forward, saying, "Just as we have made 25,000 appointments in a transparent manner without any corruption, we will do the same." With his visit and statements, Pushkar Singh Dhami hopes to restore trust and assure the youth that their future is in safe hands – but vigilance remains key! The battle against recruitment fraud in Uttarakhand marches on, and the eyes of thousands watch closely.
