Meanwhile, in the second division of the same cup, Take A Breath led a strong charge to finish first, followed by Sweet Dancer and Politics. The Monsoon Cup, featuring horses rated 40 to 65, thrilled fans as Pontefract grabbed third place behind Walking Thunder and Miss Smiley Angel. The A. Krishnaswamy Memorial Cup held a fierce contest at 1,200m, where star jockey Likith Appu guided Runlikethewind to a solid win.
