15-Year-Old Boy Dies After Fall; Police Probe Pub for Underage Drinking in RR Nagar

A 15-year-old boy died after falling from the seventh floor of a residential building in Rajarajeshwari Nagar on Saturday night. The incident took place at Mantri Alpyne Apartments on Dr Vishnuvardhan Road. Police said the boy was a Class 10 student who had consumed alcohol earlier that evening at Legacy Brewing Company, a pub nearby. He was with his friends when he drank alcohol and smoked. Around 9.40 p.m., after returning home, the boy fell from the seventh floor and suffered severe injuries. He died instantly. The police are still investigating whether the fall was an accident or a suicide. The boy's father has filed a complaint accusing negligence. Police have registered a criminal case against the pub owners and staff under the Juvenile Justice Act and Karnataka Excise Act for allowing a minor to drink. Investigation continues.
