Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has received a special invite from Harvard Kennedy School to speak at their inaugural AI Policy Symposium. He is the only Indian leader invited to take part in this prestigious event scheduled for March. CM Reddy was asked by Harvard Kennedy School Dean Jeremy Weinstein to help launch the symposium. The Chief Minister said he would consider delivering the keynote speech virtually from Hyderabad. He may also join a panel discussion with global leaders and tech experts on building AI infrastructure. The invitation was personally given by organizer Ms. Ruxanda Renita during a visit to the Harvard campus. During his final day at Harvard University in Cambridge-Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Reddy met many students, alumni, and delegations from Harvard, MIT, and Columbia. They discussed leadership, economic growth, sustainability, and welfare of farmers, women, and youth. Mr. Reddy shared his vision, called #TelanganaRising 2047, highlighting opportunities for development and empowerment. When students asked him to teach about leadership, he replied, "It’s best to let the illustrious teachers and professors of Harvard do the teaching," adding he prefers engaging two-way conversations. Expressing optimism about India's future, especially Telangana and Hyderabad's role, he urged students to stay connected to India and become brand ambassadors for Telangana Rising. Several promised to support Telangana's growth and development.
