Saudi Arabia Launches 54-Day Ramadan Sales Season From Feb 1 to Mar 26, 2026
January 30, 2026
The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has launched a 54-day Ramadan sales season starting February 1 and ending March 26, 2026. The sale period matches the Islamic calendar from Shaban 13 to Shawwal 7. The goal is to reduce last-minute crowding and let shoppers buy early and calmly.
This sales season covers a wide range of products for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr celebrations. Shoppers will find discounts on all related goods throughout this extended window.
Retailers and online stores can join by applying for discount permits on the official platform sales.mc.gov.sa. The ministry assured businesses that participating will not affect their yearly discount allowances. This makes it easier for stores to offer legal discounts without losing their annual quota.
Consumers can check the authenticity of discounts by scanning barcodes on official permits with their phone cameras. This feature reveals the type, percentage, duration of the discount, and details about the store.
Inspection teams will patrol all regions during the sales season. Their job is to ensure that all advertised offers are legitimate and match the approved discount permits. This move aims to protect buyers and maintain fair prices during Ramadan and Eid shopping.
