Two Lakh Devotees Expected at Arasavilli Temple for Ratha Saptami on Jan 25, 2026

About two lakh devotees will visit Lord Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Arasavilli, Srikakulam on January 25, 2026, to mark Ratha Saptami. This day is also the auspicious Surya Jayanti. To manage the rising crowd, the government has introduced online booking for darshan. Devotees can book tickets on www.aptemples.gov.in or use the Manmitra App for easy booking, said temple Executive Officer K.N.V.D.V. Prasad.
Each Ksheerabhisekham ticket costs ₹500. General tickets, priced between ₹100 and ₹500, are available too. Devotees are advised to select convenient time slots on their tickets and must follow them for smooth darshan.
Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar and officials have checked all arrangements. Surya Jayanti is declared a State festival. From January 20 to 25, various events like cultural programs, sports, tourism activities, and food exhibitions will take place.
Helicopter rides are organized near the Collector’s office by a private company. Sports competitions will be held at NTR Municipal High School Grounds. KR Stadium will host a food exhibition, cultural play area, and amusement park.
A Mega Surya Namaskar program is set for January 22 on 80-feet road. A Sobha Yatra will happen on January 23. On January 24, popular Tollywood singers and musicians will perform. A drone show will end the cultural events.
Darshan of the presiding deity starts from the night of January 24. Separate queues will be arranged for the convenience of devotees on Ratha Saptami.
This year promises a grand celebration with spiritual and cultural richness, ensuring devotees enjoy a hassle-free and memorable experience.
