The Solapur Division of Central Railway has launched a new scheme to encourage passengers to book unreserved train tickets digitally. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Yogesh Patil, urged passengers to download the RailOne app and enjoy a 3% discount on unreserved ticket bookings made through digital payments, excluding the R-Wallet. Those using the RailOne R-Wallet will continue receiving a 3% cashback. This discount offer stays valid until July 14, 2026. Senior Public Relations Inspector S. Vikram A.K. explained the scheme's goal is to promote digital ticketing and lower cash use at stations. "The RailOne app offers a seamless, fast and transparent platform for booking unreserved tickets," he said. The RailOne app is an all-in-one digital platform, available for download from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Passengers are reminded to carry valid tickets booked via authorized digital platforms to avoid problems during travel.
