On the same day, a member of the outlawed PREPAK (Pro) was arrested at Chairel Ahallup in Bishnupur district, according to a police officer. "Security forces continue to conduct search operations and area domination in fringe and vulnerable areas across districts," the officer added. In a separate drive from January 12 to 17 under Saikul police station limits in Kangpokpi district, security personnel destroyed 306 acres of illegal poppy cultivation.
