The Congress party has launched its campaign for Karimnagar Municipal Corporation elections by releasing a detailed manifesto. This move comes under the leadership of Velchala Rajender Rao, the newly appointed Karimnagar Assembly constituency in-charge. The manifesto promises to improve civic amenities, upgrade infrastructure, eliminate corruption, and develop Karimnagar into a model city with transparency. It includes plans to form civic enforcement committees across all divisions. These committees will monitor development work and regularly report their progress to the Mayor and Municipal Commissioner. Meanwhile, Mr. Rajender Rao received a warm welcome from party workers upon his arrival in Karimnagar on Tuesday after his appointment by the state party leadership.
