Hyderabad: Telangana's power firms TGSPDCL and TGNPDCL have started a new initiative to engage directly with electricity consumers. They are delivering personalised letters with New Year and Sankranti greetings from Deputy Chief Minister M. Bhatti Vikramarka. These letters include the consumer’s name and service connection number and are sent directly to their homes. A total of 52,82,498 Gruha Jyothi scheme beneficiaries and 30,03,813 agricultural consumers will receive these greetings. Officials said the initiative will strengthen direct contact between consumers and the power departments, leading to better and transparent service in the future. Many consumers expressed happiness on receiving these personal letters from the Deputy Chief Minister.
