The Red Sanders Anti-Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) on Saturday arrested head constable T. Satthiraju for allegedly helping red sanders smugglers. The arrest followed directions from Task Force Head L. Subbarayudu. The team, led by RI Sai Giridhar and supervised by ASP J. Kulasekhar and D.S.P. Md. Sharif, monitored Satthiraju and found he was supplying inside information and receiving money from smugglers. A case was registered after the investigation confirmed his involvement. Task Force SP P. Srinivas said, "If something goes wrong, the department will not ignore it. The employees who appear suspicious will be kept under surveillance." He added, "No one would be spared if there was a mistake even at the departmental level." This move strengthens the crackdown on smuggling in the region. The arrest highlights the task force's firm stance on corruption within the ranks.
