Four Dead, One Injured in Foggy Car-Bus Collision on Hoshiarpur-Dasuya Road

Four men died, and one was injured after their car crashed into a Punjab Roadways bus on the Hoshiarpur-Dasuya road on Saturday morning (January 10, 2026). Police said the accident happened because of poor visibility caused by dense fog. The dead were identified as Sukhwinder, Sushil Kumar, Brij Kumar, and Arun Kumar. All were from Chalet village in Himachal Pradesh. The injured, Amit Kumar from the same village, was taken to Civil Hospital in Hoshiarpur for treatment. Sub-inspector Kiran Singh, Station House Officer of Hariana, said, "The five men were travelling to Amritsar airport. As the car reached near Dosarka, the driver could not notice the bus due to dense fog, leading to the collision."
