An investigation by the Maharashtra government revealed that 2,289 women government employees wrongly received benefits from the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin scheme. The scheme, aimed at supporting eligible women with financial aid, provides Rs 1,500 for health and nutrition. Additionally, investment proposals worth Rs 1,35,371.58 crore were approved by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to foster industrial development and create around 1 lakh job opportunities.
