The head of the Commission, Shashidhar S. Kosambe, swiftly wrote letters to the Koppal district collector and Superintendent of Police, demanding urgent details. He has asked the officials to provide information about the steps taken by them within just three days! Talk about quick justice moves. The shocking part? The Kukanoor Police filed a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, against a 23-year-old man. This man allegedly had a romantic relationship with the girl, promising marriage, but things turned tragic. But wait, there’s more – six other people connected to the hostel, including staff, teachers, and health workers, have been booked for their alleged negligence!
