A casual job interview in Noida bloomed into romance, but this love story ended in horror! Ramkesh Meena, 32, and Amrita Chauhan, 21, met while hunting for jobs in May. A coffee chat turned into romance, then they moved in together in Delhi by August, sharing happy selfies and social media smiles. But the rose soon had thorns. Trouble began in September when Amrita’s ex-boyfriend, Sumit Kashyap, a gas cylinder supplier from Moradabad, reappeared. Their old flame reignited, while Amrita kept posting cheerful Bollywood lip-sync reels online. Meanwhile, Ramkesh grew quiet and distant. Police say Ramkesh started sending Amrita their private videos, hoping to win her back, but it turned into blackmail instead. Furious, Amrita demanded the hard disk with those clips. When Ramkesh refused, she decided to act. Amrita moved in with Sumit in Chhatarpur. Together with their friend Sandeep Kumar, they planned a fake robbery to recover the disk at Ramkesh’s Timarpur flat. On October 6, Amrita allegedly tied Ramkesh pretending intimacy. Then Sumit and Sandeep arrived, and in a deadly struggle, they choked Ramkesh to death to make him reveal the disk’s location. Knowing they had killed him, Amrita—who studied forensic science—and Sumit used their “skills” to hide the crime. Police said, “They poured ghee, oil, and wine on the body, turned on the gas cylinder, and ignited it with a lighter.” Locked inside, the flat exploded in flames, burning the body completely. At first, police thought an AC blast caused the fire. But mystery masked figures were caught on CCTV leaving the scene. Mobile data and digital clues led cops to Amrita, Sumit, and Sandeep. All three were arrested after confusing and blaming each other. This chilling case warns how love, jealousy, and technology can collide with deadly results. Delhi police continue investigating this brutal murder that shocked everyone.
