On Saturday, exactly 5,187 candidates will finally get official appointment letters for government jobs given on compassionate grounds. That's not all — 5,122 candidates who secured jobs through the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will also receive their certificates, as per a recent government release. So, what’s a compassionate ground job? When a government employee passes away while still working, their spouse or child is offered a government job out of kindness and support. But sadly, many appointments got stuck for a long time. Why? Blame technical glitches and endless red tape! This dragged on till Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stepped in.
