Navi Mumbai is bubbling with drama as Manorama Khedkar, mother of dismissed IAS officer Puja Khedkar, wins interim relief from the Belapur court on Tuesday. Manorama was facing tough charges after Rabale police filed an FIR against her at Chatushrungi police station in Pune. What happened? After a fiery road rage clash on the Mulund-Airoli bridge, her husband Dilip Khedkar and his chauffeur reportedly kidnapped a truck helper named Prahlad Chauhan. The police rushed to their family bungalow to rescue Prahlad, but Manorama stopped them! The twist? Manorama is accused of purposely destroying crucial CCTV footage. She allegedly handed over her bedroom key to an unknown person to remove the CCTV’s digital video recorder (DVR). This mystery person is still being hunted by the police. DCP Zone-1 Pankaj Dahane revealed, "Manorama Khedkar applied for interim bail through her advocate on Tuesday at Belapur court, and it has been granted. However, her husband, Dilip Khedkar, who is the key accused in the kidnapping case, has not yet applied for bail, and he is being traced." Meanwhile, the heat is on Dilip and Manorama as Navi Mumbai police have issued lookout circulars (LOC) against them and the unidentified person for dodging arrest. The chauffeur, Praful Salunkhe, was caught six days after the kidnapping from Shindkheda, Dhule. Prahlad, the victim and helper of a cement mixer truck that grazed Dilip's SUV, was held captive at the Pune bungalow before the police saved him. Adding fuel to the fire, Manorama allegedly obstructed the police’s duty by stopping them from entering the bungalow in Aundh. With Lokayukta's family under that much police pull, questions now swirl around power, privilege, and what really happened on that fateful Mulund-Airoli bridge day. Stay tuned as this drama unfolds!
