Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Slams Kavitha’s Claims, Denies Ties with BRS Leaders Amid Family Feuds

Telangana’s political battlefield just got hotter! On Wednesday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stepped into the ring to slam former BRS leader K Kavitha's bold claim of a "tacit understanding" with BRS MLA T Harish Rao. With fire in his words, Reddy said he "does not need to be involved with such dirty people" and firmly added he "should not be dragged into the BRS family disputes." Speaking to a crowd in his hometown, Mahabubnagar, Reddy didn’t hold back. Without naming names directly, he accused the BRS of creating a harsh atmosphere where rival parties "could not survive." He went on to allege, "False cases were filed against political opponents who aspired to become MLAs," shining a spotlight on the political mudslinging. The drama heats up with Revanth Reddy’s veiled dig at deep family quarrels inside the BRS, hinting these fights were about "the distribution of alleged ill-gotten wealth." He pointed out how the party itself is tangled in blame games: "One says Revanth Reddy is behind Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar. Another says Revanth Reddy is behind K Kavitha. Telangana people have already rejected you. Will anyone stand by you?" Taking no prisoners, Reddy compared the BRS to "an expired thousand-rupee note" bound to fade away with time. He also recalled how once-popular parties like the Janata Party and TDP lost their shine due to internal problems and conspiracies. "How can you survive after committing so many evil acts?" he asked, throwing sharp questions at his political rivals. Despite all the fireworks, Revanth Reddy made his priorities clear. "Education and irrigation are my focus, as they drive employment generation," he said, signaling his dedication to Telangana’s development over petty fights. Earlier in the day, K Kavitha, who is suspended from BRS, had rocked the boat herself. In a press conference, she accused her cousin and BRS leader T Harish Rao of having a "tacit understanding" with Revanth Reddy. Kavitha, daughter of BRS founder and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, also announced quitting her Member of Legislative Council post and hinted at "pressure" on her father to act against her. The BRS family’s storm is shaking Telangana politics hard, and with fiery words flying from both sides, the drama is far from over!
