Hold your breath! The Indian Army unleashed a massive volley of firepower after Pakistan’s ceasefire violations between May 7 and 10. According to Northern Command chief Lt-General Pratik Sharma, the Army fired a staggering 30,000 artillery and mortar shells PLUS over 3 lakh rounds of small arms against Pakistan along the Line of Control. Lt-Gen Sharma didn't hold back – "For every round fired by Pakistan (after IAF and Army conducted precision strikes against nine terror hubs in Pakistan and POK on May 7), we retaliated with a minimum of three to four rounds." This tit-for-tat firepower clearly shows India’s iron resolve to respond hard and fast! He pinned the blame squarely on Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir. Just days before the brutal Pahalgam terror massacre on April 22, Munir made a "provocative speech" calling Kashmir Pakistan’s "jugular vein" and invoked the two-nation theory. Lt-Gen Sharma said this was "direct incitement to not only the terrorists but also the Pak army." This heinous act had forced India to launch the powerful Operation Sindoor. At the same NDTV summit, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, IAF vice chief, lit up the stage with some jaw-dropping facts. He revealed how India fired less than 50 air-launched weapons — the awesome BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles and other smart missiles like Crystal Maze-2, Rampage, and Scalp — targeting Pakistani airbases, radars, and even spots near nuclear facilities. This precision strike forced Pakistan to seek peace talks by midday on May 10! "It is very easy to start a war, but not easy enough to end it," he said. The Indian Air Force showed off its muscle using top fighters like the Sukhoi-30MKI, Rafale, and Mirage-2000 packed with powerful missiles. Satellite images and videos confirmed the serious damage caused to terror and military setups inside Pakistan. Both officers stressed that India’s leadership made it clear: strike hard but keep collateral damage minimum to avoid escalation while instilling fear in the minds of the Pakistani Army. "Despite four defeats in war, the Pak army continues to be a revisionist army," Lt-Gen Sharma said with conviction. In short, Operation Sindoor was a dazzling display of India’s swift and surgical strike capability, making Pakistan think twice before violating ceasefire again. The message is loud and clear: India means business, and its armed forces are ready to respond with unmatched fury!
