The reality show The Traitors stirred up a spicy talk when influencer Apoorva Mukhija called veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi by his first name. This casual address did not sit well with actor Sudhanshu Pandey, who openly criticized her for not showing enough respect to senior stars. But now, Ashish Vidyarthi himself has stepped in to settle the storm with his cool and thoughtful words. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Vidyarthi shared how his time on the show was a learning curve. He got to understand young contestants like Apoorva better, seeing how their generation talks and thinks. "The encounter highlighted the differences between generations while also fostering mutual respect," he said. When the controversy blew up, Apoorva didn’t shy away. She sent Ashish a heartfelt apology via WhatsApp. Vidyarthi warmly accepted it and called her a person of "dignity and integrity." He admired her love for her family and encouraged her to keep following her own unique path despite what others say. Their warm exchange even led to plans for a friendly lunch together, proving there were no hard feelings at all. “She does her thing, and I do mine; that’s fine,” Vidyarthi calmly remarked, appreciating Apoorva’s honest style of communication. On the other side, Sudhanshu Pandey voiced his discomfort publicly. During an Instagram live, he said addressing senior actors too casually shows disrespect and breaks important generational norms. He warned that even kind words can be misunderstood without proper decorum, especially when speaking to seniors. For those new to the show, The Traitors is hosted by Karan Johar and brings 21 celebrities into a game of trust and betrayal. They split into Innocents and Traitors, battling through challenges and eliminations. The Innocents aim to sniff out all the Traitors to grab the prize. The first season was a hit, with Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther winning as Innocents. The show is back for a second season! Outside reality TV buzz, Ashish Vidyarthi continues his acting journey with roles in recent films like the action drama Kill, starring Lakshya, and Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham released in 2024.
