IndiGo announced on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, that it will change its long-haul flight schedule. The airline will suspend flights to and from Copenhagen starting February 17, 2026, due to external operational constraints. These include changing airspace rules from geopolitical issues and airport congestion in India and abroad. The airline's wide-body fleet of six Boeing 787-9 aircraft faces increased flight and block times, affecting schedules. As a result, IndiGo will reduce Delhi–Manchester flights. From February 7, the airline will cut services from five to four times a week. From February 19, flights will reduce further to three times a week. Delhi–London Heathrow flights will drop from five to four times a week starting February 9, 2026. IndiGo said, "These scale adjustments were originally planned for the summer schedule 2026; however, it is being executed earlier to ensure reliability to the rest of IndiGo's long-haul operations." The airline added that these steps aim to prevent passenger inconvenience caused by misconnected flights and delays. Passengers affected by the suspension of Copenhagen flights and service cuts on Delhi routes are advised to check updates from IndiGo.
