Telangana to Host 2nd Seed Festival to Boost Farmer-Owned Traditional Seeds

The second Telangana Seed Festival will be held from February 6 to 8 at The Earth Center, Anumaspally, Kadtal, Rangareddy district. The three-day event focuses on reviving farmer-owned traditional seed systems. It also aims to strengthen agricultural sovereignty during tough climate conditions affecting farming. The festival is organised by the Council for Green Revolution (CGR) with support from Bharat Beej Swaraj Manch and other groups. They want to start a farmer-led seed revolution across India.
