On World Cancer Day, February 4, 2026, the Department of Medical Oncology at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) Hyderabad will organise a free cancer screening camp. The camp will run from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Women aged 30 to 60 years can get screened for cervical and breast cancer. Oral cancer screening is open to all, with special tests for those who chew gutka or paan and smokers. These groups face higher risk of oral cancer and will receive focused attention during screening.
