Commuters between Madhapur, Kaithalapur, and Kukatpally will face traffic delays from January 31. Cyberabad traffic police announced a full closure of IDL Lake Road for seven days. The closure is needed to fix a damaged trunk sewer line. The affected stretch from Madhapur and Kaithalapur to Kukatpally Y-Junction will be shut round the clock. Police predict heavy congestion on this route and advise motorists to take alternative paths. Vehicles from Madhapur to Kukatpally are asked to use Yashoda Hospital road, cross the railway overbridge, make a U-turn at the junction, then proceed to Kukatpally Y-Junction. Another option is to travel from Yashoda Hospital to Kaithalapur, then through Rainbow Vista, continue to Moosapet, and take a left to reach Kukatpally Y-junction. Officials stressed these steps are for safety and smooth repair work. The public is asked to plan ahead and cooperate with traffic police to keep surrounding traffic flowing smoothly.
