A tragic accident in Ambur town, Tirupattur, has claimed the life of a three-year-old girl. Habia Taskin, daughter of V. Waheed and W. Fouzia, died after a stone slab on top of a house gate fell on her. Habia’s parents work at a local shoe-making unit. An initial inquiry revealed the parents were busy with chores when the child was playing near the gate. She was rushed to Government Taluk Hospital in Ambur town but was declared brought dead. The Ambur Town police have registered a case, and the investigation is ongoing.
