A 33-year-old cooperative bank worker, M. Nidheesh, was found dead near the railway track at Kushalnagar, Kanhangad in Kasaragod district, Kerala on Tuesday evening, January 27, 2026. His body was discovered around 6 p.m. Nidheesh was an employee at Pullur Service Cooperative Bank and lived in Pullur with his family. After inquest procedures, his body was moved to Kanhangad District Hospital for post-mortem examination. The exact cause of his death is unknown. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigating the matter.
