Subramanyapura Police Bust Drug Racket, Arrest Three and Seize Drugs Worth ₹4 Lakh

The Subramanyapura police arrested three people and seized drugs worth ₹4 lakh in two separate cases in the city. In the first case, police recovered 4 kg of ganja, 37 gm of MDMA, and 35 gm of hashish oil. A two-wheeler used for carrying drugs was also seized. Acting on a tip-off near Poornaprajna Nagar, the police caught the accused while selling drugs.
During questioning, the accused confessed that they bought drugs cheaply from contacts outside the state and sold them at higher prices, including to college students, for profit. Investigation revealed three more suspects are involved and they are now absconding. Police are looking for them.
In another case, Jalahalli police arrested a drug peddler and seized 31 gm of MDMA worth about ₹3 lakh. The accused was caught near the HMT Watch Factory Road railway bridge while selling the drug. Police said he bought MDMA at low cost and sold it more to make quick money. Further investigations are ongoing.
