GITAM High School's Little Worms Parade Teaches Kids the Importance of Insects

GITAM High School on Saturday (January 24) hosted an event called 'Little insects to help us'. The event taught children why insects are important for a healthy ecosystem. Pre-primary students dressed up as insects and took part in a 'Little Worms Parade' around the school campus. The crowd loved the colorful display.
The programme aimed to build environmental responsibility in young students. Principal Kinnera Sridevi said, "It is important to go beyond books and study materials in teaching education." Correspondent Tammineni Venkateswarlu added, "The purpose of education is not only securing jobs, but also developing essential life skills."
Guests at the event included GATE College Principal Raja Sekhar and Viswam School Correspondent N. Viswa Chandan Reddy. They praised the school's effort to promote environmental awareness among young learners.
