A court in Shamli district has rejected the bail plea of Farukh, accused in a triple murder case. The case involves the killing of his wife, Tahira, 40, and their two daughters, Afreen, 14, and Sahreen, 7. Additional District and Sessions Judge Seema Verma dismissed the bail application on January 22, 2026, saying no grounds for bail were found. Farukh, 45, allegedly killed them after a family dispute in Ghari Daulat village, Kandhla area, on December 17, 2025. The bodies were reportedly buried within the house to hide evidence. The complaint was filed by Tahira’s father, Ameer Ahmad. District Government Counsel Sanjay Chauhan confirmed the case is under trial.
