Bomb Threat on IndiGo Flight 6E 2608 at Pune Airport; Plane Cleared After Checks

IndiGo flight 6E 2608 landed at Pune airport on Thursday evening with a bomb threat alert. The plane, arriving from Delhi, was scheduled at 8:40 p.m. but landed at 9:24 p.m. It was parked at Bay No. 3 at 9:27 p.m. When authorities received the bomb threat information, the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay. The Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was set up at once. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) thoroughly searched the aircraft but found nothing suspicious. "Upon completion of the procedures, the aircraft was cleared and released for normal operations. The situation was handled in a coordinated and timely manner, and no further incident was reported," said an official. IndiGo also issued a statement: "Following the established protocol, we informed the relevant authorities immediately and are fully cooperating with them in following the standard operating procedures. All our customers and crew disembarked safely. We remain committed to the safety and security of our customers, crew and aircraft." The incident ended calmly with safety ensured for all on board.
