IndiGo Profit Falls 78% to ₹549 Crore After Flight Disruptions in Q3

IndiGo, India's largest airline, faced a big fall in profit in the three months to December 2025. The airline reported a profit of ₹549.1 crore, down 78% from ₹2,448.8 crore last year. Despite this, total income rose to ₹24,540.6 crore, up from ₹22,992.8 crore in the same period. In early December, IndiGo had major flight disruptions. As a result, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) cut its winter flight schedule by 10% until February 10. IndiGo's parent company, InterGlobe Aviation, shared these results in a regulatory filing on January 22, 2026.
