The Anti-Narcotics Wing of Bangalore's Central Crime Branch arrested Cornest Oneyachi Ugah, a 45-year-old Nigerian national, on Tuesday. Officers recovered 2.5 kg of MDMA and 300 ecstasy tablets valued at ₹5.15 crore from a house in Munekolala, Marathahalli. The operation followed a tip-off. Investigation revealed Ugah is a repeat offender linked to similar drug cases in Hennur and Kadugodi areas. The police are now working to trace the source of these synthetic drugs and uncover any accomplices in the case. "The arrested individual has a history of involvement in drug offences," police confirmed.
