IRISET Partners with CVR College to Launch Railway Signalling Course in B.Tech

Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications (IRISET), Secunderabad, has signed an MoU with CVR College of Engineering, Mangalapalli. The agreement is to introduce a new course on railway signalling and the Automatic Train Protection System called 'Kavach' into the B.Tech program. This move aims to upskill and reskill engineering students in modern railway signalling technology. It supports the Ministry of Railways' mission to build capacity and capability. The MoU was signed by IRISET Director General Sharad Kumar Srivastava, faculty member T Ramesh Babu, and CVR College principal K Ramamohan Reddy. Senior faculty from both institutions were present during the signing, said a press release on Tuesday.
