RPF Live Band Concert at Tirupati Station Celebrates 150 Years of 'Vande Mataram'

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) dazzled passengers with a live band concert at Tirupati railway station on Monday, January 19, 2026. The event marked 150 years since the creation of 'Vande Mataram', a stirring symbol of India's patriotism. Following instructions from Inspector-General Aroma Singh Thakur, the concert was organized under Divisional Security Commissioner Akash Kumar Jaiswal and Assistant Security Commissioner Rajagopala Reddy.
Starting at 6 p.m., the band performed six stanzas of 'Vande Mataram' along with other national songs. The melodies stirred emotions, creating a lively and proud atmosphere among passengers and the public. Tirupati Station Director K. Satyanarayana said, "Vande Mataram unites people with its patriotic message of devotion to the motherland, inspiring defiance against British rule."
RPF Inspector M. Sandeep Kumar reminded the crowd that the song helped boost freedom fighters' and students' morale during the struggle for independence. The concert was a vibrant tribute, celebrating patriotism and the nation’s unity through music.
