Man Caught Growing 2.57 Kg Ganja in Turmeric Fields in Vikarabad

On Saturday, excise officials arrested one person in Vikarabad district for growing ganja in agricultural fields. They seized 2.57 kilograms of dry ganja during the raid. The Vikarabad District Task Force led the operation, searching fields owned by the accused, Boini Ravi from Kudugunta village, Marpally mandal. Police said Ravi cultivated ganja as an inter-crop alongside turmeric to hide it among the plants. The confiscated ganja and documents were handed over to Mominpet police station for further investigation.
